Villeroy & Boch was born in 1748, which is a year of dragon. Till 2024, Villeroy & Boch has passed through 23 reincarnations in the traditional Chinese 12-branch algorithm. To celebrate the Year of the Dragon, Villeroy & Boch collaborated with the Chinese illustrator, Zeng Yixin to present the limited edition of La Boule. The design is inspired by the work - "Oriental Garden", which pays tribute to the pioneers of European art by using graphic and geometric techniques. At the same time, Villeroy & Boch is launching a limited-edition Boston Red Gift Box with "Auspicious Clouds and Tenglong", which is a perfect way to watch the dragon leaping around the clouds, and hope for a prosperous year ahead.

Inspired by traditional Chinese cultural elements and Kandinsky's abstract art, the limited-edition dragon La Boule symbolises power and longevity after being fired at 1,200 degrees Celsius. 7 pieces of tableware "divide and conquer" cleverly reflects the unique design concept and value of the La Boule. Together, they represent the flavours of the New Year, while together they represent a sumptuous collection for a happy and happy reunion. From 1971, when Helen von Boch's revolutionary design gave birth to the idea of the La Boule, to the present day, when the La Boule has been given a new look, the classic product has been revitalised and is still timeless. Combining Chinese and Western aesthetics with centuries-old German craftsmanship, the limited edition La Boule - Auspicious Clouds and Dragons, is limited to 98 pieces globally, and 70 pieces in China. Each piece is numbered, signed by the artist, and comes with an exclusive booklet to show the beauty of New Year's reunion and happiness.
